Technical info:

If your bike uses bimetallic relays, the frequency of your indicator blinking depends on the amperage that circulates through the circuit. If your new indicators offer a different level of power, we vary the amperage that circulates through the circuit and consequently we vary the blinking frequency.

If your bike uses electronic relays then you will not need to purchase any relays. If your new indicator bulbs use a different level of power, you should should replace the intermittent bulbs with others of the same power as the original ones

If your new indicators use incandescent bulbs and use a different level of power, you should replace the intermittent bulbs with others of the same power as the original ones.

If your new indicators use LEDs, you have two options to balance the blinking frequency:

  • Incorporate a resistance in parallel in the circuit of the right side and another in the circuit of the left side. If you replace the four flashing lights, you must use resistance reference 4298O. If you only replace two intermittent ones (one on each side), you must use the resistance reference 5873O. In most models the use of resistances prevents the correct functioning of the "Warning".
  • Identify the flasher relay of your motorcycle (location and number of pins) and replace it with the corresponding one from our list of relays. Some motorcycles dont have a specific flasher relay, so its impossible to replace it. Likewise, if in the intermittence procedure, more than one relay intervenes, it is possible that the replacement of a single relay does not solve the problem.
