The Handroid POD offers the same innovative exoskeletal features and design as the Handroid but with a low profile wrist closure system ensuring a perfectly balanced fit which is fully guaranteed. This new wrist system means the POD can be worn under or over a jacket sleeve. The new low profile "Dialled In" Boa lacing system has been designed by Knox in association with Boa. Patented Exo skeletal flexible spines give abrasion and impact resistance by covering the vulnerable knuckles, fingers and thumb. The careful engineering of the spines means the rider has full unrestricted movement. These link to a comfortable gel lined Metapod that covers the metacarpals and offers added protection to the back of the hand. On the palm, the patented Knox Scaphoid Protection System is enhanced by additional sliding systems on all sides which ensure that in the event of an accident the majority of contact with the ground are sliders and not leather. An additional inner cuff slider works to support and enhance the SPS sliding effect. Super strong and tear resistant Kangaroo leather covers the inside palm and fingers.
